IAIP Board &
Commitee

The IAIP Board of Directors provides strategic oversight, ethical governance, and long-term stewardship of the organization’s mission. As the highest decision-making body, the Board ensures that IAIP’s standards, certification pathways, and accreditation systems are developed and implemented with integrity, transparency, and alignment to Qur’an- and Sunnah-anchored principles. The Board works collaboratively with senior fellows, committees, and advisors to guide institutional direction, safeguard neutrality across schools of thought, and strengthen the systems that support Islamic psychology as a global discipline.

President’s Letter

February 2026

In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

The International Association of Islamic Psychology was founded to hold a trust: to safeguard the integrity of a field concerned with the human soul.

Islamic psychology has grown in visibility, yet without shared standards and ethical clarity, growth risks fragmentation. IAIP exists to provide structure, legitimacy, and unity by developing global standards, certification pathways, and accreditation frameworks rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Our aim is not uniformity, but stewardship. We honor diverse approaches while ensuring they remain anchored in revelation, professional ethics, and academic rigor. In doing so, we seek to elevate the discipline and restore trust for practitioners, institutions, and the public alike.

May this work serve as a means of healing hearts and strengthening our communities.

With respect,

Dr. Abdallah Rothman
President
International Association of Islamic Psychology
